The CZU Fire In Their Own Words -Fighting Fires, Losing Homes, and Rebuilding Community (Focus on Fire)
In this moving and powerful film, actors use the words of people who fought the fires and those who lost their homes, speaking about evacuating, losing homes and possessions, battling with insurance companies, and getting community support. Photos and videos from the families and local photographers are woven in. Following the film, the director will answer questions.The film was created and directed by Peter Gelblum and produced by Mountain Community Theater. The director and others associated with the film will be there to answer questions. See a trailer here.
The film screening is from 5-6:30 followed by a Q &A with the director 6:30-7pm.
