Ukraine and Russia: Contextualizing a War Discussion (In-person or Online via Zoom)

The beautiful newly-renovated La Selva Beach Library presents a talk by Robert Strayer, PhD, "Ukraine and Russia: Contextualizing a War" on April 2, 11:00 AM until noon. Dr. Strayer will discuss the historical context for the current conflict.

Program is attendance is in-person or online via Zoom. Attendance is limited to 45 in-person and 250 online.  Preregistration is required.

The La Selva Beach Library is located at 316 Estrella Avenue. 

Dr. Strayer is an historian with a particular focus on World History. He has taught at SUNY: Brockport, UCSC, CSU Monterey Bay, and Cabrillo College. He has received awards for excellence in both teaching and scholarship. His published works include books on African, Soviet, and World History.
