STEAM @ Home Kits: Straw Rocket

We provide the materials and directions - you pick them up and make them at home!

A limited number of kits will be available at each open branch (Capitola, Downtown, Felton, and La Selva Beach). The kits will be first come first serve, while supplies last. One kit per child limit.

Kits will be ready to pick up by 1:00 pm on December 1st.

These kits are suggested for children over age 5. This kit may not be suitable for young children without adult supervision.  Adult assistance may be required. 

Required Materials:

Provided in Kit:

  • Colorful Paper
  • Jumbo Straw
  • Card Stock

Needed from Home:

  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Scotch Tape
