Cancelled STEAM @ Home Kits: Make a catapult!
This event has been postponed until November 10th.
We provide the materials and directions - you pick them up and make them at home!
A limited number of kits will be available at each open branch (Capitola, Downtown, Felton, and La Selva Beach). The kits will be first come first serve, while supplies last. One kit per child limit.
Kits will be ready to pick up by 1:00 pm on November 3rd.
These kits are suggested for children over age 5. This kit contains small pieces and may not be suitable for young children without adult supervision. Adult assistance may be required.
Required Materials:
Provided in Kit:
- Jumbo popsicle sticks
- Rubber bands
- Plastic spoon
- Cotton ball to launch
Needed from Home:
- Tape
- Additional items to launch
- Something to launch your payload into or at
