Planning and Planting the Fall/Winter Garden with Orin Martin

Planning and Planting the Fall/Winter Garden with Orin Martin

Are you ready to pivot to fall/winter* gardening? In this presentation Orin Martin, local author and manager of the UCSC Chadwick Garden, will give an overview of: what can (and should) be sown and transplanted and when; info on sourcing seeds from seed companies as well as smart seedling shopping at local garden centers and nurseries; and an overview of what varieties to use at this time of year.

*The term fall-winter gardening refers to the time of harvest, not initiation. As unlikely as it seems, late July-early September is the time to establish a firm foundation for your fall-winter garden (both flowers and vegetables.)

Seats are limited so registration is required. Registrants will receive the Zoom access link upon registering.
