Hospice Volunteer Visitor Information Session

Hospice Volunteer Visitor Information Session

Come learn about Hospice of Santa Cruz County’s fabulous Volunteer Visitor Program. Attend this drop-in volunteer information session to explore what it means to be a Volunteer Visitor including: the application process, trainings provided, what volunteers love most about the work they do, and any questions you might have. Hospice of Santa Cruz County Director of Volunteer Services Forbes Ellis will be on hand to chat, answer questions and share stories. Feel free to drop-in anytime during the hour. Hospice of Santa Cruz County Volunteer Visitors offer support to people facing the end of life. Volunteer Visitors are extremely valued members of our hospice care team. They may simply extend a hand to hold or help with practical tasks like running errands, light touch massage, and other tasks. They often provide respite to grateful caregivers and family members. Bi-lingual volunteers are especially needed. No need to register for this volunteer informational drop-in, just stop on by! For more information please contact Forbes Ellis, Director of Volunteer Services at Hospice of Santa Cruz County, at fellis@hospicesantacruz.org or 831 430 3045.
