Climate Change Refugees
It is estimated that by 2050, 150 to 200 million people will be displaced due to environmental disruption. Currently, there is no legal definition for “Climate Refugees,” but their numbers will only continue to rise as our world changes. Do you think that climate events can displace large groups of people? What happens to someone’s culture when their home has undergone an environmental catastrophe? Where and how should people be relocated when their homes are unlivable? This conversation will look at the many complex aspects of the intersection of people and the changing world.
