NATURE'S SONG – Fine Art Paintings by Bev Martin

Beverly Martin is mostly a self-taught, story telling realist and has been painting in water color, acrylic and oils since moving, in 1971, with her family to San Lorenzo Valley where she and her family operated the Fern River Resort for 30 years.

Now retired she is exploring new pathways in fine art and in teaching others the art of water color painting.

Bev's current focus is to capture, first with camera and then in her paintings, the rich and unique beauty of the California coastlands, the ancient redwoods, flora, people and animals who live here. Bev said, "I am thrilled to explore the secret pathways where the giant redwoods whisper and the river sings of nature's profound essence. The beauty I discover here inspires me to paint." Bev is an artist and a painter with a representational style which allows her to capture something of life's precious moments in her paintings.

Bev's work has been juried into and seen in various venues including ISAP, Open Studios, First Friday Art Tours, and 79th Statewide Irreplaceable Places. Bev's work may be seen on line: www.beverlymartin/fineartamerica -- www.bevmartinfineart.com
