Guest Speaker: Gail Burk INTRODUCTION TO USE OF DNA FOR GENEALOGY
This presentation will discuss using DNA as a component of genealogical research. The program will include a review of DNA basics and essential strategies. There will be time for questions.
Gail Burk is a long-time member of the Genealogical Society of Santa Cruz County, and a genealogist for more than 40 years. She has delivered a variety of programs over the years, and currently, she co-facilitates the monthly DNA Special Interest Group sessions for the Society. Gail graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she majored in art, and minored in history.
