Charlotte McManus-Guthrie is a bass clarinetist whose passion is cultivating a love of music through chamber music and teaching. She has co-founded several ensembles that presented formal concerts and appeared in diverse locales, including First Night Santa Cruz, in the community. She has performed at Munching with Mozart and other SCCMTAC events, with Opera San Jose, Monterey Pops, and the Western Stage. She studied clarinet with Rosario Mazzeo of Carmel and has taught clarinet for over 40 years. She’s excited to share the bass clarinet with the community.

Percussionist Laura McShane performs regularly with ensembles and theater companies throughout the Bay Area, including Ensemble Monterey Chamber Orchestra, Monterey County Pops Orchestra, and Cabrillo Stage. Laura has a MA in percussion performance from UC Santa Cruz, and studied with William Winant. By day Laura is the academic advisor in the UC Santa Cruz Literature Department.

Jeff Gallagher has been performing locally on clarinet and many other woodwind instruments since 1998. During this time he has performed in the Cabrillo Festival, the Santa Cruz County Symphony, the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Monterey County Pops, Ensemble Monterey, New Music Works, I Cantori di Carmel, Cantiamo, the Santa Cruz Chamber Players, San Jose Stage, Cabrillo Stage, Western Stage, and many others. He hasn’t performed downtown with this Mozart series for about 10 years, so--buckle up...!

Pianist Lynn Kidder has performed extensively in California and Washington as a soloist, duo-pianist, chamber musician and accompanist, in addition to working as a piano teacher, vocal coach and chamber coach. A performing member of the Berkeley Piano Club, she also plays with Celebrate Piano Ensemble! and on Munching with Mozart in Santa Cruz, on the Master Artist series of Performing Artists Society in Walnut Creek, and for the Etude Club of Berkeley. She has also played with the Santa Cruz Chamber Players and Santa Cruz Chamber Ballet.
