Special Kintsugi Workshop: Community Crafters @ Boulder Creek
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with an adhesive including precious metals – gold, silver, platinum. This workshop, led by Julianne Bentley, will cover a loose version of both the hands-on craft and the metaphorical exercise of breakage, repair, and the creation of something more beautiful than it was before.
Hope you join us for this free adult workshop.
We will provide supplies and a ceramic salad plate to break, but you’re welcome to bring adhesives, metallic powder to mix with the adhesives, metallic paint and any other materials you want to use or share.
