McKenzie & Karst In Conversation
Authors Elizabeth McKenzie (The Portable Veblen) and Leslie Karst (The Sally Solari Mysteries) will visit the Scotts Valley Library on Saturday, October 5th, to discuss their new books and writing adventures. Join Leslie and Elizabeth as they share a bit about how their latest books, “The Dog of the North” and “Molten Death”, were conceived and developed. Friends since their college days at UCSC, Elizabeth’s path into writing has been more direct than Leslie’s. Their stories of how they got to where they are now and how their lives have informed their writing are sure to entertain and deepen your appreciation for the artistry and sweat that go into creating great novels. Both authors will read a bit from their books! A selection of the authors' books will be available for purchase and signing at the end of the event.
