A Spell of Poetry
Youth aged 13 to 18 are invited to a Voxteen poetry workshop! (Vox is Latin for voice.) Mark your calendars this autumn to learn about four unique styles of poetry with 18-year-old published poet and Youth Poet Laureate finalist, Madeline Aliah. Feel free to bring a cozy pillow or cushion for added comfort. Following a brief overview of Pantoums, Narrative, Lyric, and Visual poetry, each participant will receive a tarot card to use as a writing prompt. The workshop will culminate in an optional reading. Registration will be required, please register below.
