ACT Teen Public Art Workshop with Artist Lea de Wit
Do you love art? This is your chance to create a public art installation that will become part of our Felton Branch Library Teen Room!
Join artist Lea de Wit (who created the gorgeous public art for our library as well as for Felton Nature Discovery Park) and our Advisory Council of Teens as we create new art by and for teens to beautify our teen room's bare wall! Lea will guide you through the process of making group art. No experience necessary.
Do you need volunteer service hours? Join our Advisory Council of Teens on this project and you will get credit for participating! There will also be free pizza, and a chance to meet new and old friends and create something spectacular together. Creating public art for a library also looks good on resumes and college applications!
Instructor Bio: Lea de Wit is the artist behind the Felton Branch butterflies and Felton Discovery Park installation. Lea enjoys creating large-scale sculptural installations, custom lighting, & vessels that delight & inspire. More info at leadewit.com
