Anti Racism Book Circle

Anti Racism Book Circle

In partnership with The Resource Center for Nonviolence, volunteer-facilitated book circles offer participants a courageous space to help one another engage in collaborative, antiracist, learning by cultivating inclusivity, curiosity, and mutual respect.

The Book Circles will be reading How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi. The Downtown Book Circle will discuss the book over a series of 6 meetings on Sunday mornings from 10:30 to 12 July 9, 16, 23, 30 and August 6 and 13.

Advance registration for the series is required. To ensure group continuity and quality discussion, each book circle will be limited to 15 participants.
