An Age of Empires:  

Between 1500 and 1750, Europeans created a series of empires in the Americas. But they were not alone in the business of empire.  Russians created a huge empire across northern Asia; the Chinese expanded deep into Central Asia; Ottoman Turks created a huge empire across parts of  Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Comparing these empires allows to see the distinctive features of each of them more clearly.
